PURPOSE:To prevent a charge from being short at idling time while preventing idling from being unstabilized due to increasing power consumption at the time of introducing heating air. CONSTITUTION:An air pump 21 for introducing air to an exhaust pipe 6 and an electric heater 12 for heating this introduced air are provided. An idle speed adjuster 23 for holding an engine speed to the value higher than an idle speed is provide. A control unit for actuating the idle speed adjuster 23, when placed in an idling condition in a condition of heating by the heater 12, is provided. When the engine speed is increased at the time of idling operation, a generated quantity in a generator 25 is increased to supplement power consumed in the heater 12. |
