摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the measuring of positions of a plurality of magnetic field sources at which current is oriented in an arbitrary direction within a three- dimensional space while achieving a higher sensitivity of measuring the positions of the magnetic field sources in depth. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic field source measuring apparatus is provided with a magnetic flux detecting section 10 to detect magnetic fluxes generated from magnetic field sources and a signal processing circuit 11 as signal processing section to measure the positions of the magnetic field sources using the magnetic fluxes detected with the magnetic flux detecting section 10. In the magnetic flux detecting section 10, a SQUIDs 13 as magnetic flux detectors individually or pickup coils 12 which are connected in induction to the SQUIDs 13 are arranged on the surfaces of at least three sensors different in normal direction from one another. The signal processing circuit 11 uses the magnetic fluxes detected with the SQUIDs 13 to evaluate the intensities of magnetic fields at a specified evaluation position. Thus, the use of the intensities of the magnetic fields evaluated enables the measuring of the positions of the magnetic field sources.
