<p>PURPOSE:To connect a branch pipe to a main pipe strongly with the simple structure and easily in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A coupler pipe 4 is welded to the periphery of a main pipe 1, and a valve 5 is connected to the coupler pipe 4. A support cylinder 10 for supporting a drill blade 13 is fitted onto the valve 5. Under the condition that the valve 5 is opened, a hole 21 is drilled in a supply pipe 1 by the drill blade 13 through the valve 5 and the coupler pipe 4. Thereafter, under the condition that the valve 5 is closed, the support cylinder 10 is removed from the valve 5, and a branch pipe is connected to the valve 5.</p> |
