PURPOSE: To manufacture a cage in a chipless way by deep-drawing a cup having a fringe from a thin plate material, forming projections by matching with a window, blanking a bottom and the fringe of the cup, stamping outward projection portions blanked from the fringe, and then blanking the window. CONSTITUTION: A cup is manufactured from a material by deep-drawing. Projections 17 protrude to a longitudinal axis 7 inward in the raidal direction from an inner wheel part 20 and extend like a belly until it crosses over a plane 12 from an open side 16. Moreover, projections 19a are provided toward a window face 11 on an outer face 18, extend on a guide face 14 from a fringe 21, and form an end behind a step difference shift part 23 between an inner wheel profile 20 and the guide face 14. A bottom 22 is blanked and the fringe 21 is blanked at the same time or continuously so that outward projections 19 are produced at the fringe 21. Stamping of the guide face 14 to a finish condition, stamping of a profile of a cage 4 in a scope of the open side 16, stamping of the projections 19 to final profile are done, and a window 8 is blanked into a final condition in succession to manufacture window faces 10, 11 by precise blanking finally. |
