PURPOSE:To form an image on a predetermined position of a paper by printing or copying in such a manner that the position of the head of the conveyed paper comes to a feed completing position assuredly. CONSTITUTION:A paper fed to a paper feed cassette is conveyed to a reference position. A sending quantity of the paper to a paper feed completing position after the head of the paper is detected by a paper detecting sensor is decided based on a length conveyed from the reference position to a position where the head of the paper is detected by the paper detecting sensor. |
