PURPOSE:To find optimum spinning conditions of a filament typified by wool fiber in a method for producing a spun yarn by applying a turning stream onto the fiber using a device having a spindle and guide member. CONSTITUTION:A drafted filament bundle is fed from the circumference of a guide member 5 projected in a state turning the top toward a spindle inlet 6a and a turning stream is jetted into the vicinity of the spindle inlet 6a in a state inclined at an angle of 30-70 deg. to the advancing direction of a yarn to spin the yarn. |
