A process for painting of plastics using a coating composition (agent) comprising (containing) a one- or two-component binder and an adhesion promoter consisting of a chemically modified crystalline, chlorine-free polyolefin having an average molecular weight from 1000 to 8000, a polydispersity (nonuniformity) from 1.0 to 6.5 and a content of nitrogen, oxygen, sulphur and/or silicon in the form of chemically incorporated functional groups of in total 1.5 to 17.5% by weight, the use of such chemically modified polyolefins as adhesion promoters in plastic coating compositions of the kind mentioned, and the plastics painted by the process mentioned. |
