<p>PURPOSE: To provide a rotary shear for sampling-cum-crop shearing for a material to be rolled running at high speed, particularly for wire or bar steel. CONSTITUTION: A cutter carrier 2 formed into a hollow cylindrical shape is provided to be rotatable within a shear housing 1 and this cutter carrier 2 is provided with a ring cutter 4. An edge of this ring cutter 4 rotates along a hollow cylindrical wall part 6 of this cutter carrier 2. A cutter drum 3 is provided rotatably on the same rotation surface with space in an axial direction from the cutter carrier 2. This cutter drum 3 is provided with a ring cutter 5 at an outer wall. An edge of the ring cutter 5 moves along the outer wall of the drum 3. The cutter carrier 2 or the cutter drum 3 can be slid in the axial direction and in the direction of the cutter carrier 2 by a sliding device 13. Entering into this cutter carrying body 2 is made possible. A material to be rolled is guided in a gap area between the cutter carrier 2 and the cutter drum 3.</p> |
