PURPOSE:To obtain the foam by using azodicarbonamide as a foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:An expandable composition prepared by incorporating a polyolefin resin with azodicarbonamide as a foaming agent is irradiated with microwave to effect initial decomposition of the foaming agent followed by filling a mold with the resultant composition which is then heated under pressure for a specified time followed by depressurization, thus obtaining the foam with coarse pore size. |
