PURPOSE:To obtain the molding excellent in tensile strength by melt mixing an ultrahigh-molecular weight polypropylene with polyethylene and a fluidity improver. CONSTITUTION:The objective method for producing a drawn molding of an ultrahigh-molecular weight polypropylene comprises adding (C) a fluidity improver to a blend of (A) 85-99.5 pts.wt. ultrahigh-molecular weight polypropylene having at least >=5dl/g intrinsic viscosity with (B) 0.5-15 pts.wt. polyethylene having at least >=2dl/g, preferably >=5dl/g intrinsic viscosity, melt mixing the resultant mixture, extruding the mixed blend through a die, molding the melt and drawing the obtained extrude. |
