METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RUBBER ROLL AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To ensure that atmospheric vulcanization is possible and a rubber roll of high quality can be continuously manufactured at high efficiency and productivity by forming a heat-resistant resin coated layer on the external periphery of an unvulcanized rubber roll molded product, then treating it using vulcanization and cross-linking techniques and removing the heat-resistant resin coated layer. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistant resin coated layer 10 of 4-methyl-1-pentane polymer is formed on the external periphery of a rubber roll molded product with an unvulcanized rubber roll layer 2 consisting of a core bar 1 coated with unvulcanized rubber in a specified thickness. Next, after adjusting the temperature of a rubber roll molded product 3 properly using a cooling device, the rubber roll molded product is introduced into a vulcanization device to vulcanize the product. Consequently, the unvulcanized rubber roll layer 2 is vulcanized and thereby a rigid vulcanized rubber roll layer is formed. After vulcanization, the heat-resistant resin coated layer 10 is peeled off using a stripping device to obtain a rubber roll.
