SILYLATION METHOD A method is provided for silylating aromatic acylhalide by effecting reaction between an aromatic acylhalide and halogenated polysilane in the presence of an effective amount of a silicon supported transition methal catalyst. These supported transition metal complexes have been found to be recyclable and regenerable at the termination of the reaction.
