PURPOSE:To improve the serviceability in saving the trouble of operations on hall call buttons by lighting a hall button lamp at the floor concerned at a time when an elevator request at a specified floor is increased at a specified time zone, in a device for group control over plural units of elevators. CONSTITUTION:The number of waiting passengers at an elevator hall is detected by a passenger number detecting means 5, finding the degree of congestion at the hall through an arithmetic unit 14 in a group control unit 3. In addition, with a series of cage state information on the direction, position, load or the like of each cage housed in a cage state table 12, a hall call in direction of being congested is detected, and a condition flag showing a floor at the congested hall and a call direction is set. With this constitution, an operation command in a direction of building up a carrying capacity in response to a request increase in the specified direction of a specified floor is outputted to those of respective machine controllers 2a to 2c. Simultaneously a command is outputted to a hall call controller 1, while the condition flag is being set, a hall call button lamp in the specified direction of the specified floor is continuously lighted, thereby dispensing with a new hall call operation for the floor concerned. |
