STABLE PREPARATION CONTAINING AZELASTINE HYDROCHLORIDE

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable preparation not forming a crystalline hydrate by making a preparation containing azelastine hydrochloride and >=8C fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:Azelastine hydrochloride is blended with >=8C fatty acid an adjusted to pH6-9 to give a stable preparation containing azelastine hydrochloride. In the case of raising percutaneous absorption, the preparation is mixed with one or more selected from ethanol, isopropanol and a polyhydric alcohol and properly blended with lecithin in pharmaceutical manufacturing. A azelastine hydrochloride preparation composition having excellent percutaneous absorption and absorption through mucosa can be obtained.
