The cabin has a frame (31) connected to a suspension unit (11), and an outer shell with walls (14-19) of plastic with apertures for doors and windows, fixed to the frame, and one or more seats. Each of the seats is in the form of a shell (29) made by rotomoulding, joined to the frame (31) and with part of the seated integrated in the cabin wall, and acting as a shock absorber (30). Each seat can be in the form of a bench with its back (25) situated along one of the cabin's walls and comprising the lower part of the wall. The lower section of each seat can also be extended at the bottom in a hollow panel (28) which forms a part of the cabin base or floor. The seats can be made so that they are set back to back along the centre of the cabin and are made in one pieces by rotomoulding. The seats can incorporate inserts for fixing to the frame, and an aperture (43) for introducing a ballasting liquid used in strength tests. USE/ADVANTAGE - Design simplicity, greater resistance to wear and damage, and suitable for industrialised manufacture.
