The equipment includes an inductance circuit which is used as an antenna with an additional concentric section providing positive feedback to a transistor polarised by direct current. Target output frequencies of from 2-40 MHz are successively emitted under clock control. The coil Q factor is kept low to minimise the size of the equipment. The electrical characteristics of the particular patients body may cause significant drift from the target frequencies. This effect is automatically connected by eight capacitances which are switched through 256 combinations in 8 milliseconds by a microprocessor to detect maximum crest to crest voltage and reestablish resonance. ADVANTAGE - Compact, portable and does not require professional operation. Patients electrical characteristics are automatically compensated.
