<p>A brake disk (1) of a disk brake for high-performance cars, which is uniquely quiet in operation even under severe and prolonged brake application conditions, comprises an annular braking band formed of two ring plates (3, 4) connected by a plurality wings (6) and defining an interspace (5), and a plurality of projections (9) facing into the interspace (5) and being distributed at pitch distances circumferentially of said band to reduce vibration and noise.
