PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing waterproof shoes, in which any one of various materials may be optionally selected for an instep adapted to be superposed with the outer surface of a skin as a reference body, without being specifically limited to a waterproof material, and which is highly waterproofable, and is lightweight. CONSTITUTION:At first, a seamless synthetic resin skin 11 having integrally molded into a bag-like shape and having a bottom part 12 lined with an insole 15, is set, as a reference body, on a last 01, and thereafter, an instep 13 made of a material different from that of the skin 11, is set thereon being superposed with and joined to the skin 11 so as to be integrally incorporated therewith. Then, a lightweight polyurethane sole 14 is secured to the outer surface of the bottom part of the skin 11, a part of the instep 13 being clamped between the sole 14 and the bottom part 12 of the skin 11, leaving the body last 01 inverted. |
