PURPOSE:To provide a universal medicine capable of efficiently producing IgA in the living body of human and a mammal without a side effect. CONSTITUTION:This invention is an IgA production promoter singly composed of a peptide selected from a group of a peptide mixture obtained by hydrolysis of a lactoferrin, a peptide isolated therefrom and having sequence no. 1 to 30, a chamically synthesized peptide having sequence no. 1 to 31, their pharmaceutically permissible salts and their mixtures or that composed of the above- mentioned peptide and viable cells of a microorganism belonging to Bifidobacterium. This promoter can surely promote production of IgA in the living body of human or a mammal. The IgA production in the living body can be certainly promoted with any of microorganisms so far as the microorgnanism belongs to Bifidobaterium. In addition, this promoter can be administrated with no side effect. |
