PURPOSE: To provide a method for improving the stratchability of an ethylene- vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) without deteriorating its high gas barrier properties. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing a stretched product, 85-99 wt.% of EVOH and 1-15 wt.% of a graft polyolefin are melt-mixed, the mixture is formed into a solid product, the product is expanded and stretched, and the graft polyolefin is an olefin homopolymer or copolymer on which 1-10 wt.% based on the weight of an ungrafted polyolefin of a monomer having a carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid anhydride group is grafted. |
