PURPOSE:To provide the washing machine by which water can be saved by reutilizing washing water and rinsing water utilized in a washing tank, while suppressing to make the washing machine large in size and to raise the production cost. CONSTITUTION:By driving a drain pump, washing water utilized in a washing tank is stored by discharging it through a drain pipe to a high place water storage tank of the outside of a washing machine main body. Thereafter, at the time of second washing, at the time of reutilizing the washing water in the high place water storage tank, a prescribed small quantity of water is supplied into the washing tank (A6, A7 steps), and this supplied small quantity of water is supplied and filled to a drain hose by the drain pump as priming for returning naturally the washing water in the place water storage tank to the washing tank (A9, A10 steps). As a result, water in the high place water storage tank flows naturally from the high place water storage tank to the washing tank by a siphon effect, and is reutilized. |
