PURPOSE:To prevent an oil pressure from being corrected in such a state where a driving wheel is slipped in an automatic transmission where a real speed change time from speed change starting till speed change completion is detected so as to correct the oil pressure of a friction engagement element in such a manner that the detected value accords with a predetermined reference value. CONSTITUTION:A controller for an automatic transmission is provided with a slip detector (a) for detecting a slip quantity of a wheel, and a correction inhibitor (b) for stopping an oil pressure correcting function by means of an oil pressure correction command means (c) in the case where the detected slip quantity exceeds a predetermined value. |
