摘要 PURPOSE:To evade the drop of efficiency in low temp and high concn. electrolysis at the time of high current lord by forming the third layer with the high water content consisting of a fluorine-containing polymer film facing the anode of laminated ion exchange membrane and increasing the water content of the first layer facing a cathode. CONSTITUTION:The ion exchange membrane consisting of a fluorine-containing polymer film laminated in order from the first layer facing the cathode to the third layer facing the anode is prepared. The first layer has carboxylic acid groups, 5-50mum thickness and ion exchange capacity of 0.5-2 miliequivalent/g dry resin. The second layer has sulfonic acid groups, 50-300mum thickness and ion exchange capacity of 0.7-1.5 miliequivalent/g dry resin. The third layer has 5-50mum thickness, and its ion exchange capacity is prepared to 0.05 miliequivalent/g dry resin larger than the capacity of the second layer. Then, the laminated ion exchange membrane is provide in an electric cell, and power is supplied by shifting in 5-60A/d m<2>.
