PURPOSE: To stabilize functions, and reduce cost by providing a wall region deformed from the open side inward in a joint outer part, disposing the wall region between two outer ball raceway tracks, setting its width to be smaller than a circumferential distance between the respective outer ball raceway tracks, and forming a cage guide surface. CONSTITUTION: A joint outer part 1 has a bottom part 2, an opening 4 is provided on the opposite side, a non-undercut ball raceway track 5 is formed, a non-undercut inner side surface 6 is provided between the two ball raceway tracks 5, and a cage 7 is engaged in the joint outer part 1 in an axial direction. A joint inner part 9 has a non-undercut ball raceway track 10, it has a spherical guide surface 11, and the joint inner part 9 is thus guided in a spherical inner surface 12 of the cage 7. A ball 13 is received in a window 14 of the cage 7 inside the ball raceway tracks 5, 10, and plural cuts 15 are provided on the outer side of the joint outer part 1 to be connected to a wall region 16. In this constitution, axial assemblage of the cage 7 having the joint inner part 9 and the joint outer part 1 becomes possible. |
