AIR BAG CUSHION FOR VEHICLE USE

PURPOSE: To suitably filter gas which is exhausted through an air bag cushion exhaust port by disposing a filter patch for filtering the gas exhausted from the bag through the bag. CONSTITUTION: The air bag cushion for a vehicle comprises a foldable body of the cushion having a front part made of a woven fabric having substantial gas permeability and an adjacent rear port, and at least one gas exhaust port 22 formed at the rear part to exhaust fine particles-containing gas from the cushion through the body. Further, the cushion also comprises a filter patch 24 having at least one layer of a first reinforcing material and at least one layer of a first filter medium. The patch 24 is disposed in relation to cover the outlet 22 and to function of filtering the gas exhausted from the bag.
