PURPOSE:To prevent displacement of a sheet supporting surface by determining a region of weak sucking force on a sucker table, and extracting action performed toward a strong region from the weak region, so as to change a direction of action to a reverse direction, in a plotting and cutting process performed on the sucker table. CONSTITUTION:A width of a region 51 (data conversion objective area: hereinafter B zone) of weak sucking force in the end part of a sheet material is assigned by an input device 49 in a plotter side. Then, a B zone 51 is set in the periphery of a work area 54 by a B zone discriminating part 52 of a controller. Next, cutting and plotting data stored in a data buffer 56 are successively transferred to a data analyzing part 58 and converted into a plotter command. This command is fetched by a cut direction converting part 60, to decide whether the command is a work vector data or not having a start point in the B zone 51, and in the case of providing the start point in the B zone 51, the command is converted in a reverse direction, that is, a vector having an end point in the B zone 51, and stored in a sort buffer 62. |
