<p>PURPOSE:To restrain the development of Al2O3 clustery inclusion by together using CaO-SiO2 series flux, at the time of deoxidizing molten steel by using Al, Al alloy and/or Si alloy as the deoxidizer. CONSTITUTION:At the time of executing the deoxidation to the molten steel by using the Al, Al alloy and/or Si alloy as the deoxidizer, the CaO-SiO2 series flux is added into the molten steel together with these deoxidizers. Then, the flux is added so that wt. ratio (CaO-SiO2/Al2O3) of CaO-SiO2 in the flux to Al2O3 contained in the molten steel as the deoxidized product by Al becomes >=about 1.5, and it is effective to add by an injection method. By this method, the development of the Al2O3 clustery inclusion malinfluenced on the steel quality and operation is restrained.</p> |
