<p>PURPOSE:To reconstruct a water-tight waterway tunnel while minimizing the reduction of the water-passing cross-sectional area by a method wherein small and long FRP plates along the longitudinal direction of a waterway tunnel are set through water-tight joint parts in the circumferential direction of the tunnel. CONSTITUTION:Small and long FRP plates 3 along the longitudinal direction of a waterway tunnel to be repaired are set in the circumferential direction of the tunnel 1 to cover the inner surface 2 of the tunnel. The plates 3 are joined by water-tight joint parts 4 and a grout 5 is injected into the apertures between the plates 3, the parts 4, and the inside 2 of the tunnel to reconstruct the tunnel while minimizing the reduction of the water-passing cross-sectional area regardless of the shapes of the cross sections of the tunnel 1. The inner surface 2 of the tunnel can thus be repaired at a low cost by using the FRP plates 3 and the joint parts 4 which are produced through a mass-production.</p> |
