<p>PURPOSE:To transfer an engine assembly body in simple manner by arranging a positioning device for engaging the engine assembly body into a positioning hole and carrying out positioning, at a loading position. CONSTITUTION:When an engine assembly body E is suspension-transported by a conveyor A, and received by a transfer device 1, and assembled on the body of an automobile, positioning is performed by inserting the positioning pin 28 for a positioning device into the positioning hole E6 of the engine assembly body E at the transfer position FW of the engine assembly body E. Then, the engine assembly body E is swung, having the positioning pin 28 as fulcrum, and pressed by a pressing device 30, and set to an assembly attitude for the body of the automobile, and then a loading board 2 is raised, and the pins 7, 8, and 9 of the placing board 2 are engaged with the positioning holes E7, E8, and E9 formed on the undersurface of the engine assembly body E, and the suspension metal fitting A2 of the conveyor A is demounted, and then the placing board 2 is lowered.</p> |
