PURPOSE:To improve the appearance of a lamp in the daytime, and improve the evenness of brightness in the nighttime by having the continuity of pattern between an effective reflecting surface part and an ineffective reflecting surface part of the inner surface of a lamp body. CONSTITUTION:The inner surface of a lamp is provided with an effective reflecting surface part 7 for reflecting the light output from a light source to the optical axis direction and ineffective reflecting surfaces 8, 9 continued to the outside of the effective reflecting surface part 7, and a step 10 is formed in the part 7. Similar steps 20, 21 having the nearly same pitch with the step 10 of the part 7 are formed so as to have the continuity of pattern between the steps 20, 21 and the step 10. The steps 20, 21 disperse the light from the light source similarly with the step 10 to make the brightness of the parts 8, 9 nearly equal to the brightness of the part 7. In the case where the inside of a lamp is seen from the front of the lamp through a front lens, since the whole of the inner surface of the lamp body 1 presents the continuous pattern, appearance of the lamp is improved, and the brightness of the parts 8, 9 is made nearly equal to the brightness of the part 7 at the time of lighting. |
