PURPOSE:To inform the user the arrival of an incoming call at any time by employing a 2nd power supply for a power supply of a reception circuit for a control channel. CONSTITUTION:A control channel use reception circuit 22 and a sub CPU 23 are operated by a sub power supply 24 of a small capacity. Furthermore, the control channel use reception circuit 22, the sub CPU 23 and the sub power supply 24 are included in a pager section 38 and a buzzer is used together with a display section in order to inform an incoming call to the user. A CPU 25 is operated by a main power supply 26 of a large capacity. The main power supply 26 is connected to a power supply capacity detection circuit 27 and a detection output signal of the power supply capacity detection circuit 27 is fed to the CPU 25. When the detection output signal has a prescribed level or over, charging from the main power supply 26 to the sub power supply 24 is implemented. The sub power supply 24 is kept always to be fully charged by keeping the capacity of the main power supply 26 to be a prescribed capacity or over. |
