PURPOSE: To provide a shielded electric connector for a circuit board in which fitting to the circuit board and shielding performance are improved. CONSTITUTION: A connector is fitted in a metal housing 2 placed on a circuit board, and has at least one of header inserts 8, 10 with plural terminals 64, 66, 68, 70, while the header insert and the terminals together with the housing are practically surrounded by a shield. The header inserts 8, 10 with the plural terminals 64, 66, 68, 70 are also surrounded by the metal housing 2 with a 2-unit structure and the shield 18, and while fitting to the circuit board is made possible by providing at least one hollow board lock 41 on a bottom of the housing, it is structured that at least one of grounding tabs 100 of the shield 18 is inserted into a hollow part of the board lock. |
