PURPOSE:To obtain a distance measuring apparatus, which performs highly accurate distance measurement readily without providing a correcting circuit, a memory element and the like. CONSTITUTION:Distance measuring light is projected on an object 24. The reflected light is received with a PSD 26. A pair of signal currents, which are detected in the PSD 26, are amplified with amplifiers 27 and 28. The signals are inputted into an operating circuit 31 through switches 29 and 30. A reference signal source 32 is connected to the switches 29 and 30. The actually measured output or the output signal from the reference signal source 32 can be selectively inputted by switching. The measured distance value is computed with a CPU 33 in simulation and stored. The actually measured value is corrected. The dispersions of the circuit constituting elements caused in manufacturing or by temperature and the like are offset, and the distance is measured with this distance measuring apparatus. |
