PURPOSE:To attain the automatic conversion of the word related to the next candidate even when this candidate is selected from among the words having the cooccurrent relation in an input undecided state. CONSTITUTION:A word processor is provided with a dictionary means 1 which stores the read information and the cooccurrent relation information on the words, a reader means 3 which reads one or plural word candidates out of the means 1 for each paragraph and in response to the input read information, a display means 4, a retrieving means 5 which retrieves a word having the cooccurrent relation with the word selected among those read words out of the means 1, and a substitute means 6 which substitutes the word candidate of a paragraphic except the word read and selected by the means 3 based on the cooccurrent relation when the words having the cooccurrent relation are retrieved. |
