PURPOSE:To simplify machining and reduce machining time for coping with modification of coil specifications by using a plurality of rod-shaped coil core where line grooves for positioning a wire are provided at an outer periphery are used between a pair of flanges by cutting a molded object. CONSTITUTION:Four cores 10 where a line groove 11 for positioning a wire which is coil-wound on the outer periphery of a round rod is machined are positioned between a pair of flanges 13 and 13 for constituting a roll frame and a coil roll frame is constituted by tightening with a stud 14 and a nut 15. A wire 20 is coil-wound along the line groove 11 of the core 10 of the coil former for forming a first coil layer and is wound in multiple layers successively along a recessed groove between the wires of the layers where the wires were wound already starting from the second layer for completing the coil, thus simplifying machining of the coil former and reducing the machining time, reducing the quantity of the coil formers since no coil formers need to be prepared every time the coil specifications change, and hence obtaining the title coil former which is also inexpensive. |
