PURPOSE:To obtain an antiskid unit for achieving readhesion positively even upon duration of instable state where the direction of wheels is not settled even upon cessation of skid. CONSTITUTION:The antiskid unit 20 for vehicle comprises a skid detecting section 21 for detecting skid of wheel to produce a brake force decreasing signal (a), a skid cessation detecting section 22 for detecting cessation of skid to produce a brake force sustaining signal (b), and a recovery detecting section 23 for detecting eventual recovery of wheel speed to produce a brake force reset signal (c). A time interval after provision of the signal (b) from the skid cessation detecting section 22 before provision of the signal (c) from the recovery detecting section 23 is then measured and when the time interval thus measured exceeds a set time, a signal (e) is delivered from a timer circuit 25 to a circuit 26 for forcibly reducing brake force. |
