PURPOSE:To suppress the distortion of an inverter output voltage by the saturation of a phase voltage, by comparing a correction carrier signal with a control voltage signal and generating a switching control signal of a PWM inverter apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A switching control signal of a pulse width modulation(PWM) inverter apparatus is generated using a carrier signal Va of a predetermined period and control voltage signals V*u, V*v and V*w as input signals. In a device for controlling the output voltage of the apparatus, the control voltage signals V*u to V*w are compared with a reference value, and when the absolute value of the control voltage signals V*u to V*w exceeds the absolute value of the reference value, a comparator 31 for outputting a signal according to the exceeding value is installed. An adder 33 which adds the output of the comparator 31 to the carrier signal Va and outputs a correction carrier signal Ve is installed. Then, the correction carrier signal Ve is compared with the control voltage signals V*u to V*w and the switching control signal of the PWM inverter apparatus is generated. Thus, the distortion of line voltage can be suppressed. |
