PURPOSE:To correct density data obtained by voxel method by surface method, and to more exactly execute shading by calculating correction density data at every point, and to execute a three-dimensional shading display. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 201 constitutes the center of a processor. A high speed exclusive hardware (correction density calculating device) 202 calculates correction density data being the center of the processing. A disk memory 203 is a large capacity memory, and stores data before and after the processing. A display device 204 executes a three-dimensional display. Each device 201-204 is connected with a common bus 205. Also, the correction density data is a value calculated by a density gradient in the vicinity of a voxel picture element position. This correction density data is replaced with voxel picture element density. The correction density data is a value derived from a density inclination, therefore, becomes density itself corrected by a surface method. This calculating work is executed by the high speed exclusive hardware 202. |
