The device has a female end (3) fixed to a part (1) to be joined and a male end (4) correspondingly fixed to a tube (2) to be joined. The male end (4) and the female end (3) comprises cylindrical parts destined to slide one in the other. The male end (4) has a peripheral groove (6) extending close to its free end (7) and in which is disposed a water-tight toric (8) and a socket (12) adapted to slide the length of the groove. Gripping arrangement (14) forces the joint (8) against the socket (12) to deform the joint (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - Hydraulic circuits.
