PURPOSE:To provide a method and device to maintain the temp. of an anode gas supplied to a fuel cell within the specified temp. range even though the anode gas emitted from a modifier bears a low temp. CONSTITUTION:The arrangement concerned includes a modifier 10 to modify a fuel gas 1 into an anode gas 2 containing hydrogen and a fuel cell 20 which makes power generating from the anode gas and the cathode gas 3 containing oxygen. Part of the anode gas emitted from the modifier is heat exchanged by a heat exchanger 30 with the anode exhaust gas emitted by the fuel cell to be heated, and this heat portion is mixed with the unheated portion of anode gas with the aid of a rate-of-flow regulator valve 32, and the resultant mixture gas is fed to the fuel cell. |
