<p>PURPOSE:To prevent paper from being wound upward and to restrain irregularities in an unfixed toner image by forming a carrying guide member of a semiconductor material whose surface resistivity is within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is guided to a downstream side along the carrying guide member 45 under a residual toner storing part 37 storing residual toner. At such a time, the surface resistivity of the member 45 is set to >=1X10<10>OMEGA and <=1X10<14>OMEGA, so that charges accumulated on the sheet gradually escape, and the sheet is prevented from being wound up to the residual toner storing part 37 side. Since the surface resistivity of the member 45 is set large and the member 45 is a semiconductor, the charges on the sheet are prevented from escaping suddenly through the member 45. Therefore, the force of carrying the unfixed toner image does not become small suddenly and the irregularities in the image are prevented. Especially, even in the case the carrying distance of the member 45 is long, the charges are difficult to escape and the force of carrying the unfixed toner image being carried is maintained.</p> |
