PURPOSE: To actuate certainly the safety device of an X-ray emitting device which includes an X-ray tube accommodated inside a protection cover and a cooling circuit in which a cooling fluid for the X-ray tube is circulated around between the tube and protection cover. CONSTITUTION: Liquid-tightly and in vacuum sealing a rigid cavity 10 is connected with a cooling circuit through a fluid connecting member 1 having a large discharge quantity. This cavity 10 is automatically opened mechanically through the action of the cooling fluid when its pressure exceeds a certain threshold value Ps. This precludes the pressure of the fluid in the protection cover from becoming excessive. This is applied to the cooling system of a radiation device, in particular an X-ray tube.
