PURPOSE:To provide the compact digital still video camera capable of hand blur correction. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 51 with an image pickup lens 1 put therein is supported by a damper 52. A horizontal drive coil 53, a vertical drive coil 54 and a focus drive coil 55 are fitted to the cylinder 51, and a horizontal drive magnet 56, a vertical drive magnet 57, and a focus drive magnet 58 are provided corresponding to the coils respectively. A magnetic field in response to a direction of a current supplied to each drive coil is generated, an absorbing force or a repulsion force is produced corresponding to the drive magnet and the cylinder 51 is driven. The image pickup lens 1 is driven in the horizontal or vertical direction in response to the direction of a blur to move an image point thereby preventing a blur of a formed image due to a hand blur. Furthermore, focusing is implemented by supplying a current to the focus drive coil 55. |
