PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of discharging an original at the time of picture reading operation by quickening the conveying speed of a paper discharging roller faster than the speed at the time of picture forming operation when the completion of read-out is detected. CONSTITUTION:When the instruction of the picture reading operation is received, first of all, the rotation of each roller including a resist roller 42 is started, and a picture reading part 39 is made to start the execution of the read-out of the picture of the original fed from a paper feeding cassette 31 or a manual feeding port 32, and when the completion of the readout of the origianl is detected, the conveying speed of the resist roller 42 to act as the paper discharging roller at the time of the read-out of the picture is quickened faster than the speed at the time of the picture forming operation, and this quickening is continued until the discharge of the origianl is completed. Besides, at the time of the picture reading operation, the feeding of the first sheet of the original is started, and the picture of the picture of this original, and at the same time as the completion of the read-out of the original is detected, the feeding of the next original is atarted. |
