PURPOSE:To facilitate the use of small-diameter carrier and to obtain a fine image. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device which stores developer including toner and carrier in a development unit 3 and supplies the toner to a photosensitive body 1 based on a difference in potential between the development member 5 holding the developer thereon and the photosensitive body 1, thereby forming an image is provided with a potential-difference switching means 11 for switching the potential difference to such a level that the carrier easily stick to the photosensitive body 1 in comparison with the case of development, and a driving means 12 for driving the photosensitive body 1 and the development unit 3 according to the potential difference switched by the potential-difference switching means 11. |
