The system comprises a series of self-adhesive cards (4) which are removably placed on an anti-adhesive base layer (3), and a covering layer (10) of self-adhesive synthetic transparent plastics, attached to a protective anti-adhesive layer (7). The two anti-adhesive layers form two flaps (A, B) which are joined by a central hinge (2). The covering layer for each card is in the form of a cut-out portion of a self-adhesive material attached to one flap (B), positioned so that it fits over the card when the two flaps are folded together. Once the appropriate information has been entered on a card on the first flap (A), the corresponding section of the other flap (B) is cut and folded over onto the first flap so that the card is covered by a transparent plastics layer.
