<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a chip resistor not requiring its position check a when automatically mounted on a printed board. CONSTITUTION:A longitudinal dimension h1 of a resistance substrate 20 of a chip resistor D is almost the same as a width dimension w1 thereof, and an electrode Ea of a surface 21, an electrode Eb of a rear surface 22, an electrode Ec of an end 23, and an electrode Ed of a chamfered part 24b of a side 24 are formed at its both ends, and also a resistor R ranging between the electrodes Ea and Ea is formed on the surface 21. As the longitudinal h1 is almost the same as the width dimension w1, it can be treated in the same manner as a chip part having a column shape. Also, if the side is mounted on a printed board, as the electrode Ed is formed in this side 24, the chip part D is stably soldered by this electrode Ed.</p> |
