<p>PURPOSE:To make the process contents of an item clear and to be easily understood by dividing a display screen into two and displaying the item name and an image or text of characters or a figure showing the process contents of the item. CONSTITUTION:An electronic function calculator has input parts 1-8 and a display part 9. The input parts have mode keys 1 for selecting a CAL mode, a GRAPH mode, a PROGRAM mode, and a STAT mode. On the initial screen of function selection, the item name is displayed on the left side and the item A is reversed and displayed. On the right side on the screen, the process contents of the item A are displayed. When a down cursor as a cursor key 5 or 'B' key (alphabet key B) as a function key is depressed, an item B is reversed and displayed, so that the process contents of the item B are graphically displayed on the right side on the screen. When an 'ENTER' key 8 is depressed in this state, a graph as the kind of the item B is selected and a graph of broken lines is drawn.</p> |
