<p>For a compost container (1) with a stirring device (7) which is operated from without using an external shaft (6) and which has at least one stirrer mounted in the container (1) to rotate about about its own axis, it is proposed that the container (1) has a chamber (5) which serves as a receptacle for the matter for composting, wherein there is at least one stirrer (8) which travels in a complete circuit within the container (1) and rotates about its own axis, and which is connected to a drive mechanism (9) which guides its movement and is actuated via the external shaft (6). The chamber containing the matter for composting can be delimited at its base by a sieve plate.</p> |
