A pivoting polishing block assembly (6) comprises a torsion arm (18) having a molded polishing block joined thereto in pivoting relation about the central axis of the torsion arm (18). The molded polishing block (6) comprises a polishing block holder (2) having a plurality of openings (4) formed therein, and an abrasive pad (8) formed thereover composed of an abrasive, moldable material. An apparatus for cleaning and polishing rolls, which includes the pivoting polishing block assembly (12), is also provided. |
